On Sept. 2, 1998, Swissair Flight 111 was en route from New York to Geneva. After noticing some technical errors on board, the flight crew tried to divert to Halifax International Airport. At 10:31 p.m. AT, the aircraft crashed into the waters off Peggys Cove, Nova Scotia, killing all 229 people on board. Here's a look at some of the first TV stories produced out of Halifax.
