as posted by the channelBack in 1986, Maurice Mad Dog Vachon was the king of professional wrestling -13,000 appearances. the fifth estate goes inside the artifice of professional wrestling - from blows cushioned out of the view of fans. But in a business built on theatrics, Vachon became an outsider because he really did inflict pain on opponents and even referees. Eric Malling follows Vachon to the working class neighbours of Montreal that were a hotbed of future professional wrestlers. Vachon retired shortly after his fifth estate profile and just one year later, he would have his leg amputated after a hit and run accident. He died in his sleep in 2013 at the age of 84 and remains a wrestling legend.
