Many Somalis fled their homes and thousands of refugees came to Canada. Most had legitimate refugee claims, but some had been accused of war crimes back in Somalia. Victor Malarek tells the story of three men Abdi Ali Nur Mohamed, Mohamed Hassan Ismail Farah and Col. Yusuf Abdi Ali 'Tokeh', who had been accused of brutality, torture, beatings, and executions in Somalia. Malarek explores how the men were able to slip through the cracks of the Canadian immigration system, and how their presence was affecting the Somali community in Canada.
