6:01Now PlayingLast week Canadian cyclist and three time Olympian Jocelyn Lovell passed away at the age of 65. Lovell, regarded as one of Canada's greatest cyclists, won a multitude of awards at the Commonwealth and Pan-Am games throughout the 70's and early 80's. His career was tragically cut short in 1983 when he was struck by dump truck while training near his Toronto area home. In 1984 fifth estate co-host Bob McKeown documented his recovery in our piece, 'The Road Back'. In this excerpt Lovell reflects on his past and the new challenges he faced in his intense rounds of physiotherapy.
