A day and a half later, lawyers in Boston were able to successfully convince emergency court judges to suspend the order for seven days which made Boston’s airport a safe zone, for some.
Faris al Sanabani is a US resident, originally from Yemen, who was out of the country on business when the executive order was passed. Fearful that he wouldn't be able to get back home Sanabani booked tickets to four different American cities to get home, eventually flying thru Boston on his lawyer’s advice. the fifth estate's Gillian Findlay spoke to Sanabani after he cleared customs.
