The remains of two missing children have been found amid devastating floods in Nova Scotia last week. The body of a 52-year-old man was also found Monday.

“The tragedy that’s happened here is really — it’s really unimaginable,” said Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston at a news conference Tuesday.

The children were reported missing Saturday after the vehicle they were in became caught in floodwaters in the Brooklyn area. The 52-year-old man and a youth were in another vehicle in the area that also went missing.

Police said the search is still underway for the youth in Brooklyn, where work is continuing to lower the water levels.
