Jessica Platt, the first openly trans woman to play pro hockey in Canada, says Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre should focus on wider-ranging issues rather than calling for restrictions on women's sports, change rooms and bathrooms. 'This has the potential to endanger many in the trans community, and I don't think that people's lives should be used as a political chess piece,' Platt says.
