On Wednesday, BQ Leader Yves-François Blanchet said that prorogation would not stop his party from prioritizing its proposed bill. Recent history has shown that a prime minister who wants to get away from a vote of non-confidence can delay matters, either by changing the schedule of business in the House or by adjourning Parliament via prorogation.
