Criminologist fact-checks Trump nominee's claims about fentanyl crossing border | Canada Tonight

Billionaire Howard Lutnick, U.S. President Donald Trump's nominee to be commerce secretary, voiced his concerns about fentanyl coming from Canada into the U.S. during his confirmation hearing Wednesday on Capitol Hill. Stephen Schneider, a criminologist and author of Iced: The Story of Organized Crime in Canada, says these accusations that drugs are coming from Canada are hypocritical because the U.S. is the primary source of drugs and guns coming into Canada.
