as posted by the channelVancouver police said the man accused of killing 11 people by driving a vehicle into Lapu-Lapu Day festival celebrations in Vancouver had contact with police the day before the attack. “That contact was not criminal in nature,” Sgt. Steve Addison said.
Kai-Ji Adam Lo, who is charged with eight counts of murder, has no other record of criminal charges in the provincial court database and was the subject of multiple mental health interactions with officers in the months leading up to the tragedy.
