Peguis First Nation uses past disasters to help northern Manitoba fire evacuees

Members of Peguis First Nation have been forced from their homes repeatedly due to frequent flooding and even wildfires. They are now turning the table to give back to others in their time of need, like eight-month-old Greenly Osborne who had a harrowing trip with family to escape the wildfire burning near Pimicikamak — including a seven-hour wait at a ferry crossing to access the only way out by road.
