2:00Now PlayingAlberta Premier Danielle Smith is making her position clear on separatism, saying she and her caucus would vote to remain part of Canada. But Smith has taken issue with a court decision quashing the approval of a petition seeking a referendum.
In the meantime, Smith says she wants to add an additional question to the upcoming Alberta referendum on constitutional matters and changes to the immigration system. She says the question will not 'directly trigger separation' but would ask about holding a binding referendum on the matter.
