YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

The Coalition Avenir Québec government has introduced legislation – Bill 4 – that would allow people who fear for their safety to obtain their partner’s history of intimate partner violence. The bill has also been referred to as the Gabie Renaud law, in honour of a woman who was allegedly killed by her partner last September. Correction: A previous version of this video erroneously included an image of an individual who was not accused in connection with this case. The image has been removed.
