as posted by the channelAn increase in cases of respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV, has parents of newborn babies on edge. The virus can cause lung problems, and make it difficult to breathe, especially for people with weakened immune systems. RSV has been estimated to cause between 100 to 500 pediatric deaths a year, and there is currently no drug to treat it. Dr. Jon LaPook reports.
