as posted by the channelOn June 23, 2003, the Supreme Court ruled the use of affirmative action in college admissions was justified. Writing for the majority in Grutter v. Bollinger, Justice Sandra Day O'Connor suggested that "25 years from now, the use of racial preferences will no longer be necessary." The Supreme Court ended affirmative action in college admissions in decisions on two cases on June 29, 2023.
