YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

"Wal-Mart has promised to add $50 billion in American-made merchandise to its offerings over the next 10 years. The promise comes amid criticism of the company's overseas sources using cheap labor, as well as a fatal fire in a Bangladesh factory that made clothing for retailers including Wal-Mart. (And, incidentally, the retailer is also facing protest, such as the one pictured above, over its sales of assault weapons and ammunition.) And there's more: Wal-Mart says it will hire any honorably discharged U.S. military veteran who wants a job within 12 months of his or her discharge date. The company expects to hire 100,000 vets over the next five years."*

Walmart plans to spend $50 billion on American-made goods...over the next 10 years. That's actually very little, as the company makes around $400 billion in one year. Ana Kasparian and John Iadarola discuss.
