YouTube Description
as posted by the channel"Coming out to your parents isn't usually easy, but Tumblr user ellende-generes (real name: Laurel) did her best to make the conversation a piece of cake. Actually, make that a whole cake.
Fifteen-year-old Laurel posted a photo of a cake she made for her parents as a way of announcing that she is a lesbian. Loud and proud in bright green frosting, the cake reads, "I'm gay."*
A teenager named Laurel came out to her parents with a cake and a very pun-filled letter. Fortunately, it went well for her and her parents laughed about it and hugged her, supporting her. Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian discuss the coming-out-- is doing so getting slightly better for the person, or is it still as scary for gay teens (and adults) as always?
