Danne Desbrow was sentenced to 53 years to life in prison by San Diego Superior Court Judge Patricia Cookson, after being convicted of murdering Kevin Santos in 2003, according to U-T San Diego. Just minutes later, after members of the victim's family were escorted out of the courtroom, the 36-year-old Desbrow married his fiancé Destiny and Cookson officiated.
