The 43-year-old actress looked absolutely beautiful with her hair in tousled curls while she was bundled up in a charcoal Marina Rinaldi coat — but it was that very look that angered a vast amount of critics who thought she was covered up due to her size. The magazine responded, saying, "On all of our shoots, our stylists work with the stars to choose pieces they feel good in, and this is no different: Melissa loved this look, and is gorgeous on our cover," a spokesperson for Elle said in a statement.
