Well, former lieutenant colonel and Fox News strategic analyst Ralph Peters may have found the strangest possible phrasing for this divergence Monday night when he told Bill O'Reilly, "Vladimir Putin is playing Game of Thrones and we're playing Downton Abbey"...He and O'Reilly rolled their eyes at the newly-announced sanctions, which Peters called "timid" and "tepid." O'Reilly offered the possibility that behind the scenes, the U.S. is building consensus in Europe to act against Putin.
