6:52Now Playing"The Chipotle restaurant chain said Monday that firearms are not permitted inside its locations. Talking Points Memo reported that the company released a statement about its no-guns policy after "open carry" activists staged an armed demonstration at a Chipotle in Dallas, TX.
"Recently participants from an 'open carry' demonstration in Texas brought guns (including military-style assault rifles) into one of our restaurants, causing many of our customers anxiety and discomfort," read the statement to CBS Dallas-Ft. Worth. "Because of this, we are respectfully asking that customers not bring guns into our restaurants, unless they are authorized law enforcement personnel."
The company gave a nod to pro-gun advocates, saying that there are "strong arguments" on both sides of the gun rights issue."* Ana Kasparian, Jimmy Dore (The Jimmy Dore Show) and Dave Rubin (The Rubin Report) break it down on The Young Turks.
