6:43Now Playing"Gov. Scott Walker defends his anti-abortion views in a new television ad released Monday, the same day a national abortion-rights group announced its own spot calling on the Republican governor to "just leave women alone."
The dueling ads demonstrate an intensifying effort to win female voters, with just a month before the Nov. 4 election, in Wisconsin's tight race between Walker and his Democratic challenger, Mary Burke.
The ad from Emily's List marks the first campaign ad from the Washington-based abortion-rights group. It features a woman identified as a nurse practitioner citing Walker's signing of a law that requires women to get an ultrasound before having an abortion and mandates doctors who perform abortions to have admitting credentials at nearby hospitals. The ad also refers to Walker's opposition to abortion even in cases of rape and incest."* The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks it down.
