1:55Now Playing"About a dozen students at a Virginia high school walked out of classes Monday to protest a racist tweet they believe was sent by a school administrator.
The students from Booker T. Washington High School in Norfolk said they were upset about a retweet from the administrator, which included a picture of a group of black males and white females, dressed for a formal event, and the caption, “Every white girl’s father’s worst nightmare,” reports local outlet WAVY-TV.
Students said they saw the tweet recently, though it was posted several months ago, says 13News Now.
“Those comments should really be kept to herself,” high school junior Michael LeMelle told WAVY-TV, referring to the administrator, who isn't being named by The Huffington Post because she hasn't officially been accused of wrongdoing by the school."* The Young Turks hosts Cenk Uygur & Ana Kasparian break it down.
