5:52Now Playing"Seven protesters accused of disrupting U.S. Supreme Court proceedings and another man who allegedly filmed the disruption are facing misdemeanor charges.
Court records show that each member of the group that was arrested Wednesday at the Supreme Court is facing two misdemeanor charges in D.C. Superior Court, charges punishable by 60 and 90 days in prison. An attorney listed as representing group members did not immediately respond to a telephone message Friday.
Wednesday’s protest took place on the fifth anniversary of the court’s Citizen United ruling that freed corporations and labor unions to spend as much as they want on Congressional and presidential elections."
