One man, Dan Marks from Hilo, Hawaii, noticed a very small but extremely important task required to convene a Constitutional Convention wasn't being done: counting requests for conventions as required by the Constitution. He decided this needed to be corrected and set about doing his civic duty to change it. His persistence led him to coordinating with Wolf Pac Executive Director Ryan Clayton and after continuing his efforts, he achieved the impossible: he got Congress to do the right thing. They changed the rules and now they count.
Dan Marks is an example of the power of citizen activism and of the strength Americans truly have to make their country a better place.
