"Floyd Dent, a 57 year old black man, was pulled over on January 28 during what should have been a routine traffic stop. Instead he was dragged out of his vehicle, repeatedly bunched and tased until he was left with broken bones and blood on his brain. Dent was originally arrested for resisting arrest and for crack cocaine found under his passenger seat that he claims was planted. Thanks to video evidence, it has been proven that not only did Dent not resist arrest but that one of the Police Officers, William “Robocop” Melendez, clearly planted a small bag of drugs. Despite having a debatably cool nickname, this is not the first time this officer has been charged with planting evidence at a crime scene.
Dent was offered a plea deal that he has refused to accept, continuing to claim innocence.”
