6:47Now PlayingCenk Uygur () and John Iadarola () hosts of The Young Turks discuss the fundraising efforts of Sen. Ted Cruz for his 2016 Presidential campaign.
"Texas Senator Ted Cruz, the first to announce his plans to run for President as a Republican, has raised a large amount of money in a short span of time through his new super-political action committees. It is expected that the Super PACs will have raised over thirty million dollars after only being officially formed for a week. The PAC names are Keep the Promise, Keep the Promise I, Keep the Promise II, and Keep the Promise III, because coming up with clever names is apparently more difficult than raising more money than the economy of some third-world countries."
