"Tulsa, Oklahoma played host to a tragedy when 73 year old reserve deputy Robert Bates played cop this week and accidentally shot and killed 44 year old Eric Harris when Bates really meant to fill Harris's body with thousands of volts of cuddly electricity that sarcastically can be regarded as never hurting anyone instead of the slugs of metal that were fired into his body at above the speed of sound leading to his ultimate demise. Of course Harris was an unarmed black man, because what is a death in police custody without it being a black man who isn't carrying a weapon? In a video released by local officials Bates calls 'Taser!' and fires his weapon, immediately apologizes, thinking the weapon was harmless. Harris was fleeing from attempting to illegally sell a fire arm to undercover police officers.
The Tulsa Sheriff's department has a history of employing volunteer reserve officers that make it a point to carry weapons. Bates is currently in police custody and if convicted is looking at four years in prison and a fine of $1,000 for manslaughter."
