4:03Now PlayingAn Oklahoma teacher is facing ridicule for disciplining a student for being left handed. The boy was writing awkwardly with his right hand and his mother asked why he wasn’t using his left hand like he normally did. He said it was because his teacher told him it was the “bad hand.” When the mother wrote to the teacher to ask for an explanation, the teacher replied with an article that said that left handed people were unlucky, evil, and sinister. Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian (The Point) hosts of The Young Turks discuss.
Do you think left handed people are evil? Should this teacher be allowed to keep her job? Let us know in the comments below.

“A four-year-old Oklahoma boy was reportedly forced by his teacher to stop writing with his left-hand because she thinks being left-handed is 'evil'.
Alisha Sands says that her son, Zayde, brought home a letter from his teacher at Oakes Elementary School in Okemah that states left-handedness is often associated with evil and the devil, KFOR reported.
The mother, who is also left-handed, says that she noticed her son trying to write with his right hand and not his left last week.
'I just asked 'Is there anything his teachers ever asked about his hands?' And he raises this one and says this one's bad,' Sands told KFOR referring to her son's left hand.”
