Fox’s Eric Bolling and Geraldo Rivera got into it over universal background checks today, with Bolling making an argument that it could adversely impact poor minorities.
Bolling dismissed the ideas of a gun registry and closing the gun show loophole, which Rivera thought were pretty good ideas.
But on the subject of background checks, when Rivera asked what the problem is there, Bolling said, “Poor people, minorities in high-crime urban area will have to make the choice between buying this gun to protect my family or feeding my family.”
