Christie made the comments Monday night on the Fox News Channel program "The Kelly File," after Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker suggested that other Republicans follow his lead and narrow the field to take on front-runner Donald Trump.
"I don't share his view," Christie said. "I don't think there's anything dangerous going on. The fact is we're having a competition. The competition of ideas and personalities and approach and vision will be what will determine this."
Christie's campaign already is reaching out to Walker's top donors and campaign operatives in states, according to a member of his leadership team.”*
