“Sen. Ted Cruz is apparently embracing a controversial artist's depiction of him as a bare-chested, heavily tattooed smoker.
The eyebrow-raising image by the artist Sabo appears on Cruz's website as a poster for sale under "Sabo Gear." At $50, it's the priciest of six Sabo items listed, the others ranging from $25 to $40.
According to the Texas Tribune, Sabo gained notoriety in 2014 in Los Angeles when he created the poster by putting Cruz's head on top of the naked torso.”
