“A father from Herkimer County, New York, admitted in court Monday that he posed online as his daughter’s boyfriend to receive nude photos of her — and then tried to blackmail her, Fox News reported.
The man, whose name is withheld to protect the identity of his then-14-year-old daughter, pleaded guilty to enticing a child to produce child pornography and receiving and sending child porn.
He could be sentenced up to 250 years in prison, according to Fox.
Court papers say that the man set up accounts with Instagram, AOL and a texting service under a fake name and pretended he was a 16-year-old boy from another town to talk online to his daughter, Syracuse.com reported.”
