3:31Now PlayingTrump’s own artwork of the New York skyline just sold at auction. Cenk Uygur, Grace Baldridge, and Aida Rodriguez, the hosts of The Young Turks, tell you how much it sold for. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.
“At least one Donald-related deal got accomplished this week.
President Trump's child-like sketch of Manhattan's skyline fetched a grown-up price tag Thursday evening when an anonymous bidder offered up $29,184 for the work.
His decades of experience in New York City real estate aside, the drawing is largely lacking in any defining Big Apple characteristics apart from an elongated paper bag-like structure that seems to be screaming, meant to represent Trump Tower.
Interestingly, Trump made it so that the location where his oldest child, Donald Trump Jr., son-in-law Jared Kusher, and campaign manager Paul Manafort allegedly met with several Russians to discuss damaging information on Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign is featured front and center.
In total there were 11 bids, the price initially set at $9,000 by the Los Angeles-based Nate D. Sanders Auctions.”
