“The organizer of white nationalist march in Charlottesville that claimed the life of Heather Heyer has told Fox News that he has had to go into hiding due to death threats.
According to the organizer, who was chased from Charlottesville when he attempted to give a press conference after the death of Heyer on Sunday, claims that he is being unfairly maligned, stating his followers are a “civil rights” group.
“Some are the discriminatory policies of affirmative action, college admissions, history books being rewritten, blaming American whites for slavery,” Kessler explained, adding, “Every culture had slavery.”
Kessler claimed that he never met James Alex Fields Jr., who is currently being held for running Heyer down with his car, and when asked about the victim, demurred, saying, “No comment.”
Since the deadly attack and the blowback that has followed, Kessler’s Twitter and Facebook accounts have been shuttered.”
