“An Alabama pastor who’s supporting Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore believes that Moore’s accusers were paid money to level charges against him.
In an interview with the Boston Globe, Pastor Earl Wise of Millbrook, Alabama, said that there was no way that the multiple women who accused Moore of molesting them when they were teenagers were telling the truth.
“I don’t know how much these women are getting paid, but I can only believe they’re getting a healthy sum,” Wise explained. “How these gals came up with this, I don’t know. They must have had some sweet dreams somewhere down the line.”
Wise then went on to say that he would still back Moore even if the allegations made by the women were proven to be 100% true.
“There are some 14-year-olds, who, the way they look, could pass for 20,” the pastor explained.”
