“Update (December 14, 2017, 5:45 p.m.): Spurlock is stepping down from his production company, Warrior Poets, according to a release sent out Thursday evening. “On behalf of Warrior Poets, we as partners have always supported our company and its endeavors. As of today, Morgan Spurlock will be stepping down effective immediately,” his partners Jeremy Chilnick and Matthew Galkin wrote. “We will continue to lead the company as equal partners, producing, distributing & creating from our independent production company.”
On Wednesday night, Oscar-nominated documentarian Morgan Spurlock released a statement revealing that he has been accused of rape and sexual harassment by two respective women. Spurlock, who has helmed a wide-ranging docuseries on CNN since 2013, detailed the allegations against him in a Twitter statement, first addressing a rape accusation that stems from his college days.”*
