"The Senate approved legislation Tuesday to permanently fund the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund, guaranteeing that first responders who faced health problems after the attacks and their survivors receive their full benefit.
The bipartisan bill, which passed 97-2, now heads to President Donald Trump’s desk for his signature."
