“Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) slammed President Trump on Thursday night after he called her a "Wack Job" on Twitter.
"Better than being a criminal who betrays our country," Ocasio-Cortez tweeted in response, apparently referencing Democrats' impeachment inquiry into Trump's dealings with Ukraine.
The progressive firebrand pushed back on Trump after the president shared a tweet from his son, Donald Trump Jr., who knocked the New York Democrat over her town hall Thursday.
Trump Jr. joked that a woman who had made comments about getting "rid of the babies" at Ocasio-Cortez's town hall seemed like a "normal AOC supporter," referring to her initials.”
