The second presidential debate is hosted by Fox News. The debate will be available to watch on Fox Business. Rumble, and Univision. The debate will air 6-8pmPT/9-11pmET. The debate will take place at Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute in Simi Valley, California. Stuart Varney and Dana Perino, and Ilia Calderón will be moderating the debate.
To qualify for the debate, candidates must have at least 50,000 unique donors, at least 200 from 20 different states, and must hit 3% in two national polls or 3% in 1 national poll and 3% in 2 polls from an early primary state.
Qualifying candidates include Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence, businessperson Vivek Ramaswamy, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.), Doug Burgum, and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. Former President Donald Trump has also qualified, but will not be in attendance.
Trump will skip the second Republican primary debate to speak Wednesday with UAW members at a non-union plant in Macomb County.
