"South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) released a five-minute ad on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) for Smile Texas, a chain of dentist offices in the Lone Star State. In the ad, which was posted on Tuesday, the governor recalled a biking accident that knocked out her teeth, but she did not explain why she chose to get the subsequent dental work done in a place four states away beyond saying, “because they’re great.”
“I love that my bite is better, that my teeth are a better shape, that they feel better in my mouth and that I can be confident when I smile at people,” she declared."
