"Comedian Stephen Colbert had no shortage of material Tuesday night after President Donald Trump’s address to Congress that saw The Late Show host skewer the Democratic opposition’s protests.

During his marathon speech, Trump declared his administration was “just getting started” as he touted his push to shrink the federal workforce, overhaul foreign policy, and escalate a high-stakes trade war. Meanwhile, as Trump spoke, Democratic lawmakers silently held up small placards reading “lies” and “false” in protest – just one of several strategies deployed throughout the night."
