This has led the ruling ZANU PF party to tell supporters of opposition leader, Nelson Chamisa, that "we should all lose graciously" amid claims vote rigging had taken place.
Meanwhile the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission who were overseeing the poll said there had been "absolutely no skulduggery" and it would begin releasing results shortly.
