The government has hired 21,000 contact tracers to help with the test, track and trace policy.
Earlier today, the Health Secretary, Matt Hancock, said that everyone in the UK aged five and over can now apply for a coronavirus test - if they have symptoms. Those now include a loss of taste or smell, alongside a fever and a new persistent cough.
The UK Department of Health says 34,796 people have died in hospitals, care homes and the wider community after testing positive for coronavirus in the UK, up by 160 from the day before.
Mr Raab is joined by Deputy Chief Medical Officer for England, Jonathan Van-Tam.
