Since then there have been changes to our lives that we could barely have imagined back then. And our understanding of the virus has changed as well.
In the UK, the latest government figures show that in the last 24 hours a further 181 people are reported to have died with Covid, bringing the UK total to over 125 thousand. There have been 6,753 new cases in the UK. Almost 244 thousand people received their first dose of the Covid vaccine yesterday. 23 million people have now received their first dose of a vaccine.
So, a year on how do we use what we've learnt during the pandemic to tackle the virus in the future?
