It’ll bring unseasonably strong and potentially disruptive winds in the north. In the yellow warning area, gusts of wind will widely reach 40-50mph, with 70mph for coasts and hills. That’s enough to disrupt travel and power supplies, create large waves around the coasts, and even damage trees and buildings. The storm is being caused by a strong jet stream high above the Atlantic Ocean.
