Ali had insisted the government was “empowering people to challenge unreasonable rent increases,” yet it's alleged four tenants who rented a house in east London from her were sent an email last November saying their lease would not be renewed.
They were given four months to leave and the property was then re-listed with a £700 rent increase within weeks.
Ms Ali has so far not commented on the claims.
