The same amount have seen an increase in aggressive and intimidating behaviour, while one fifth said staff had been physically assaulted.
One pharmacy owner in Leeds reported bricks being thrown though their window amid repeated break in attempts. Another in Birmingham said they had thieves brazenly filling open bags and walking out without any concern for being caught.
