American grey squirrels had come to dominate food and habitats, and they carry a virus deadly to reds. Since 2009, Saving Scotland's Red Squirrels have been working to bring back the reds.
And it's worked - campaigners say in the next two years, the greys will likely be eradicated from the city, while reds are thriving.
