After five years of abuse, Hari Shankar went on trial but Kiera says he played the justice system and avoided jail. Kiera, now 24-years-old, shares her story and her fight for justice.
Nottinghamshire Police declined to comment due to ongoing civil proceedings.
The Crown Prosecution Service said it recognised the impact the case has had on Kiera and that “any decision to accept a guilty plea is made following careful consideration of all available evidence.”
